Didn't Alex Shane appear on that Sky One programme, Britain's toughest?(Halbared 08:13, 4 June 2006 (UTC)) It ws called Britain's Hardest, and I think it had him as less than 100 kg.(Halbared 09:06, 4 June 2006 (UTC))[reply]

I've cleaned-up the article, which was essentially a puff-piece and contained some arguably controversial and unsourced material about another living person, although more work would need to be done to raise it above start-class I think. I also corrected typos. I also think his in-ring wrestling career should probably be separated from his radio and event promotion work.--Maloot (talk) 17:57, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Like your clean up this article really needed it.. sub sectioning the career would be nice way to seperate it it up i think. --- Paulley (talk) 23:10, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: OPWO Heavyweight Title. I don't want to go on a Kriss Sprules rant but OPWO really were a joke. They don't have their own wikipedia page, I really don't see why this title is included - he never defended against a 'name' wrestler.--Maloot (talk) 15:11, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just because the promotion was rubbish and is not wikipedia worthy doesn't mean it isnt included. The promotion existed and he held the title that is a fact that has to be included most indy promotions dont have wiki's but we dont discriminate if it existed and they held it then its added. --- 20:37, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

"We" - is there an actual policy on this? I think the compromise is to use the format James Curtin (aka Spud)'s page has.--Maloot (talk) 12:34, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well in general wikipedia doesn't pick and choose which bit of the truth we use, if its true then its added. As part of Wikiproject for pro wrestling me and others came up with formats that are used, also i think i wrote that article originally, so yea if we can section up the promotions and other work correctly then yes sub sectioning the career is a good idea --- Paulley (talk) 12:41, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
"if its true then its added" is a massive simplification of what actually happens on wikipedia but I can see I should just let this go. I've altered the headings so the OPWO Title is included along with other titles - some of the other titles there are definitely more notable (e.g. the IWP Title was originally fought for in front of a 1000+ crowd).--Maloot (talk) 13:37, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Lol, look lets keep this simple... was Alex Shane OPWO champion or not? answer: yes.. thats it. As for the other thing the idea is to correctly name every title and put it under its correct promotion, only use Other Titles when we dont actually know which promotion the title is from... the idea is to get them all out of Other Titles and remove that section completely. If you know any of the other promotion on this article or any on the other pages please try and help by naming the promotions and moving them up of Other Titles. --- Paulley (talk) 18:28, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
