[edit]Hi @Maurice Oly all of the prose is sourced so is it just the songs? Pinging @FloridaArmy as well. S0091 (talk) 17:23, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
- Its the Shows and Songs sections that need more citations. Maurice Oly (talk) 17:28, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks @Maurice Oly. The shows are sourced in the prose and I think all the listed songs are in the earlier cited discography (first footnote) but will go through to double check and cite it in-line. S0091 (talk) 17:35, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
- @FloridaArmy I didn't see a source for Believe Me. Where did you get that one from? S0091 (talk) 17:43, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
- User:S0091 the cite that follows the next song. Additional songs noted there as well and perhaps some added details that could be included. See here. Thanks for giving this entry life! Seems like a fun and interesting subject even if this type of dialect show and song isn't popular or considered acceptable in our era. FloridaArmy (talk) 17:51, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
- @FloridaArmy I searched for the word "Believe" in the discography but did not get a hit. I was able to find the other songs either there or in other sources. What is the related Matrix No.? S0091 (talk) 17:58, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
- You're right! I swear I looked at that source and saw it but I looked now a couple times and I'm not seeing it. this source "Black Music in the Driscoll Collection by SA Floyd · 1974 shows a search preview stating ""Believe Me" words by Alex Rogers, 1909"". I have a lot going on so I am a little distracted but Ill try to follow up later when I can. My applogies for the confusion. I swear it was in that cite when I checked. I'm losing it.. FloridaArmy (talk) 18:55, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
- @FloridaArmy no need to apologize. He wrote over 2,000 songs! S0091 (talk) 19:00, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
- This Youtube video shows the songhseet for it with Rogers name. FloridaArmy (talk) 18:59, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
- I think this is all settled. @Maurice Oly let us know if you see other sourcing issues. S0091 (talk) 19:11, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
