Alex Miller (Alaska lobbyist) → Alex Miller (lobbyist) – Article was recently moved to its present title as part of a slew of undiscussed moves, all offering the same rationale of "state-only disambiguators are disfavored for human names" and changing the disambiguator from (U.S. state) to (U.S. state + occupation). In the course of trying to further a one-size-fits-all Wikipedia, WP:ATDAB was ignored in this instance, specifically "...when a more detailed title is necessary to distinguish an article topic from another, use only as much additional detail as necessary". Throughout the encyclopedia, this has been so consistently ignored, it's as if to suggest that we're trying to ghettoize subjects because their notability may be particular to a "lesser" area. Miller was a longtime member of the Democratic National Committee, so that's not even the case here. RadioKAOS / Talk to me, Billy / Transmissions 18:32, 11 November 2020 (UTC)
