Alex Jones (disambiguation) → Alex Jones – American TV host is not clear primary topic, Welsh TV presenter is of comparable importance. PatGallacher (talk) 23:41, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose. It's 3,610 views a day for the InfoWars personality compared to 652 for Welsh presenter.[1] The other possibilities get double digit page view numbers. Don't let the globalists tell you different! Nine Zulu queens (talk) 00:14, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose. I think the TV host is the primary topic here. Rreagan007 (talk) 02:29, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose. This move was decided in December. Nothing has changed since then to warrant undoing it. Nohomersryan (talk) 05:44, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- Support if PRIMARYOBNOXIOUS was the criteria the radio host cum conspiracy theorist might have it, but among all these names, and he's unknown outside the US, this is not primary in any encyclopaedic sense, just page views alone, and that isn't enough. In ictu oculi (talk) 07:08, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose as little has changed since December's RM. Also, to counter In ictu ocul's suggestion, he is well known in the UK (where the other Alex Jones is best known) as this chart from December's RM shows. Iffy★Chat -- 10:13, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- Support When I google "Alex Jones" the first few hits are the welsh presenter.Slatersteven (talk) 14:38, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- Reply This appears to be a case of systemic bias in favour of the US. The US controversialist may the primary topic in the US, but the Welsh TV presenter would be the primary topic in the UK, not just in Wales, she has had a rising profile in the last couple of years, and a lot more people will have heard of her. Where was this discussed in December? PatGallacher (talk) 16:45, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- I included a link in my comment, but here again if you missed: Talk:Alex Jones/Archive 14#Requested move 25 December 2017. Nohomersryan (talk) 17:47, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose. The article for the American conspiracy theorist received 2372 page views on June 20, 2018, compared to 237 page views for the Welsh TV host, a difference of 10 times greater in favour of the conspiracy theorist, with a similar spread extended back the past three months, at least. It is clear that the conspiracy theorist is the primary topic. I also don't think that this is an example of systemic bias in favour of the United States; the American conspiracy theorist is at least moderately well-known in Canada while the Welsh TV host is completely unknown. And in response to Slatersteven saying that the "first few hits" on Google are for the Welsh TV presenter, when I ran a Google search for "Alex Jones" the entire first page consisted of hits for the American conspiracy theorist; the Welsh TV presenter did not appear until the 15th hit, on the second page of results. -- Millionsandbillions (talk) 17:48, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- I am going to suggest that one reason is that recently she was in the news, and now less so. Another is based upon country, she is not exactly big over the pond.Slatersteven (talk) 17:59, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- Support for WP:BIAS and WP:RECENT reasons. The US host is only marginally notable outside the US; the Welsh presenter is only marginally notable outside the UK; there are many other people with this name; none justifies being the primary topic. Hairy Dude (talk) 02:01, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose - the guy's a nutjob, but he's pretty well-known outside of the States. Even more so than the Welsh presenter. Unreal7 (talk) 09:31, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose – the American conspiracy theorist is primary topic and is (unfortunately) well known internationally, too. Nothing new has been established to overrule the last RM. CookieMonster755✉ 02:37, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
- Support. No clear primary topic here. Difference depending on where you come from. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:30, 27 June 2018 (UTC)
