Because what's in the draft doesn't meet WP:GNG. Are there enough new sources of her that meet that line? I can look for them, too. There's a lot of people who are going to need pages from the 2018 election, but she's only won the primary, not the general. – Muboshgu (talk) 03:19, 11 October 2018 (UTC)

Chief of staff

I'm new to editing Wikipedia, and tried to add more info to my edit.

Before Seward could finish lodging his complaint over the extension of a $2.50 fee on retail tire sales, a loud crash and a commotion startled him from behind. Someone yelled, “We need to pause!” The state senate live stream of the budget debate cut to an exterior shot of the senate chambers with elevator music playing in lieu of live audio.

An intern had collapsed, Sen. Michael Gianaris explained a few minutes later as the session resumed. Alessandra Biaggi’s chief of staff Andrew Mutnick rushed to the aid of the intern who “seems to be OK,” Gianaris reported.

“Fortunately, he was fine and had suffered from an episode of vasovagal syncope,” Andrew Mutnick later wrote in an email describing the incident in a way only a doctor would. A pediatrician by trade, Mutnick was an early booster of Biaggi during the 2018 Democratic primary campaign against then state Sen. Jeffrey Klein, and became her chief of staff when she took office in January.

On May 10, Mutnick left her office after just four months, citing the March 13 incident on the state senate floor as a catalyst for his departure. “Shortly following that, I realized that I was missing medicine and would prefer to return pediatric practice.”

The original source for the section on her firing men and hiring only women is a highly partisan blog, and I've been looking for anything to corroborate it. Father, Grandfather Conviction

If it is worth mentioning that her grandfather was a Congressman, why is it not worth mentioning that her grandfather and father were both convicted of corruption (forcing her grandfather out of Congress)? See Grace Meng to see how a similar issue was handled on a similar page. It seems like we are leaving encyclopedic, notable information out of the page by mentioning that Mario Biaggi was a Congressman (twice in the article) without mentioning how his career ended- his conviction is easily more notable than any other aspect of his life, including his election to the House. See WP:BLPBALANCE which states "Beware of claims that rely on guilt by association". Just because another article has a similar violation does not excuse it here. It may have been one of the last major things Mario Biaggi was notable for, but with a 20 year career in congress, it is far from the only thing, and yet it is the only that is highlighted in Alessandra Biaggi's article. No positive aspects of his career are mentioned. Discussion of the conviction is only about 15% of Mario Biaggi's article and there is whole section of accolades, including many that he received after his conviction. Yet none of that is mentioned in Alessandra Biaggi's article. Moreover, the wording in Alessandra Biaggi's article leaves out important context, thereby making it appear all the more negative in Alessandra Biaggi's article. Anyone who would want to find this information can click on the link in her article, and see both the positives and the negatives, as well as the full context of Mario Biaggi's convictions and acquittals. I Seriously Doubt Biaggi Was A Spoile For Mike Lawler

In contrast to defund the police advocate Biaggi, Lawler made the issue of crime one of his main campaign platforms.
