I'm adding refs right this very moment. Bddmagic (talk) 00:08, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've got gobs more to add, but I think this should serve as a decent beginning point for right now. Bddmagic (talk) 02:44, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
NO, not at all: see reliable sources. For example, your OWN website cannot be used as one as it's a primary source. The definition of reliable is fairly strict here. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 09:15, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Contentious and spiteful Wikipedia........and the beat goes on. Well, after getting my feelings hurt, I very carefully read the guideline pertaining to COI; I think both my writing and my motives are well within bounds. Yes, I'm an avid amateur magician and I'm a member of Wikipedia Project: Magic.....so sue me. I do believe that it's improper for me to agenda-push here and I think I'm staying far away from that. The web site I listed isn't listed as a bibliographic reference, it's just his company's web site......that's it, nothing more, nothing less. Although if the commenter/et al. will read carefully, I'm not using his self-published works as KEY REFERENCES, I'm just listing that they exist, but that there are other secondary sources out there that establish his notability as an entertainer. For crying out loud, I've listed references to a big newspaper, two refs to an international periodical, a Google books ref and a separate book written by Michael Close.....and I've only just started for pete's sake. Bddmagic (talk) 15:12, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
when I nom'd it, there was a single reference. Period. None of the current references display any notability from my reading. Note: this was originally a speedy deletion that I declined. Perhaps you would have been wiser to create a WP:USERSPACEDRAFT if you had that much more work to do to make it meet requirements (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 15:30, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Admittedly, perhaps I should have. I did start messing around in my sandbox on this some time back, but using the USERspacedraft widget probably would've been the wiser route to've taken. Bddmagic (talk) 15:49, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
