Merge Zion curtains here
[edit]- The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
- The result of this discussion was to merge Zion curtains into Alcohol laws of Utah Klbrain (talk) 20:35, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
There's no real value in partitioning out this little part of the eccentricities of Utah's alcohol laws into it's own article. The term Zion curtains has no notable usage outside of the topic of Alcohol laws of Utah and the existing material could easily be merged here in it's own section. —Asterisk*Splat→ 18:08, 12 December 2014 (UTC)
- Agree. AdventurousMe (talk) 07:39, 15 February 2015 (UTC)

- No objection to merger. — Kpalion(talk) 15:01, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- Agreed. You have to admit that partitioning off the Zion curtains has a certain irony to it though, right? BlackVegetable (talk) 04:47, 12 March 2016 (UTC)

Sunday Sales
[edit]Why is there no mention of the restrictions against buying alcohol in Utah on Sunday? I have not been able to find any information on this anywhere. However, it is definitely restricted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.169.92.113 (talk) 21:40, 22 October 2017 (UTC)
remove non-factual section
[edit]Why is a public poll part of this page? I'm going to remove this section in a week unless someone can justify retaining it. Ididerus (talk) 07:11, 12 March 2019 (UTC)
Earliest available time to purchase alcohol.
[edit]Not just on Wikipedia, but generic search engines don't mention the earliest time alcohol can be sold in Utah. Gas stations that are open 24/7 sells beer and alcoholic drinks they are permitted to sell, which is beer at an earlier time than what search engines say. The only thing stated is the time alcoholic beverages above 5% ABV (4% alc by weight) that can be sold.
Why is this so? Is it lame and super stupid that the internet doesn't provide the earliest time for basic, canned, low alcohol content based beverages be purchased?
- Righteous do-gooders, boy/girl-scouts, anyone with an extremely polarized moral compass, victims of tragedy caused by alcohol and anyone with a strong personality in general are not allowed to respond. Reason being that your thoughts and opinions are well known. No one is disagreeing with your thoughts and/or views. They just don't belong here. Comments that intentionally spiral out and off topic and away into tangents with the intention to kill 'my' buzz are pedantic, condescending, unwelcome and not allowed.*
