Competition or Award?
[edit]I was uncertain as to whether to name the article the Albury City Short Story Competition or Albury City Short Story Award. Thoughts from other editors most welcome. Research17 (talk) 06:51, 9 September 2024 (UTC)
- It seems that in most instances, the reference is to an Award rather than Competition, and thus I have created a redirect to the Albury City Short Story Award. Research17 (talk) 18:27, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
Citations
[edit]Many thanks to those wikipedia editors who have kindly assisted with tidying up the article, including the citations. My thanks also to editor Iwaqarhasmi, who, via a template, has usefully raised a query about the citation method, and I'll do my best to explain below. 1) As it happens, all my sources are internet sources. 2) What I have done is to provide a link to the relevant website in the reference, and then to provide a brief description of the item. 3) There is one QUT source, and in that instance what I've done is to list the source according to the recommended QUT citation method, and then also to provide the link. 4) What I have also done is to provide the date that I've accessed (retrieved) the particular source. 5) You'll note there are multiple sources within the one reference - this is merely a practical move, given the number of sources.
