This article was created or improved during the Oregon State University Black History Month Wikipedia Edit-a-thon with AfroCROWD, Wikimedia Nigeria and Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, "Writing Black History into Wikipedia". The event was held at the OSU Valley Library on Feb. 8, 2019; some editors worked remotely during January–February.

On 30 July 2020, it was proposed that this article be moved from Albina District, Portland, Oregon to Albina, Portland, Oregon. The result of the discussion was moved.

Albina, Oregon vs. Albina District

@Osu.archivist.tem: Thank you for creating this article. I'm curious though, are you able to include any information about the boundaries of the current district, and, are they roughly the same as the boundaries of Albina, Oregon? @Another Believer:I wondered the same thing - but I rationalized splitting them because the original Albina Oregon article focused on the city rather than this distinct district of neighborhoods in the larger Portland metro area?
