His crimes started in 1890.
If you count rape, molesting, and assault as crimes he had started his crimes in 1890.22:39, 21 February 2022 (UTC)ForestC217 (talk)
If he learned to drink urine then Urolagnia should be urophagia
Change urolagnia to urophagia 2607:FEA8:BD1E:D900:8D95:E662:1C04:C9A2 (talk) 00:56, 14 May 2022 (UTC)
changes to his trial
change
The trial lasted for ten days. Fish pleaded insanity, and claimed to have heard voices from God telling him to kill children. Several psychiatrists testified about Fish's sexual fetishes, which included sadism, masochism, flagellation, exhibitionism, voyeurism, piquerism, cannibalism, coprophagia, urophilia, hematolagnia, pedophilia, necrophilia, and infibulation. Dempsey in his summation noted that Fish was a "psychiatric phenomenon" and that nowhere in legal or medical records was there another individual who possessed so many sexual abnormalities.[1]

Bedden
Alberts first victim's last name was Kedden. The papers mispelled it when he went missing 2603:7080:9342:3C00:AD6A:33E1:86B3:1C45 (talk) 10:27, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
- Do you have a reliable source for that? Gawaon (talk) 10:59, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
Incorrectly stated mothers age.
Fish’s mothers age is absurd and not mathematically sound in this article. Please facilitate a change for accuracy. 68.68.91.10 (talk) 15:37, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
- Why do you think so? According to the article, she was 31 or 32 when he was born. That sounds plausible enough. Gawaon (talk) 17:35, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
Letters
The letters are too explicit and should not be shown in this article 37.159.102.226 (talk) 17:07, 12 June 2023 (UTC)
- You are right, we can’t give a person like this a voice. 37.159.102.226 (talk) 17:08, 12 June 2023 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is not censored, even if something is found to be exceedingly offensive. Sorry. --Hammersoft (talk) 17:58, 12 June 2023 (UTC)
Had a similar "well that's a bit much" reaction, but it's not about censorship; it's about WP:WEIGHT and MOS:QUOTE. Wikipedia articles summarize the available sources, using direct quotes sparingly. What exactly do these letters offer the reader beyond a summary? It seems like it's just because of how lurid they are, which isn't a good reason to include. — Rhododendrites talk \\ 02:16, 22 June 2023 (UTC)
- The letters at least provide some sort of aspect to Albert Fish life and in my opinion thus contribute to the article James dick (talk) 03:14, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
- I agree, they offer good insight into his psyche. Gawaon (talk) 18:44, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
- Me too. The letters show how deeply twisted and broken he was. It really gives a glimpse into the depraved psyche of that terrible monster. It also shows the horror of the parents, the terror of the confirmation, even though not knowing feels worse. The terror and disgust of knowing what atrocities were committed to your child, who you loved, and were praying was still alive. It's a source that should be shared, but should possibly be warned about beforehand. Maskedmarrow (talk) 21:10, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
