Is this really notable enough to have a page, much less be featured on the front page? 84.154.207.30 (talk) 15:53, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

He's on the front page as a WP:DYK, which has no notability requirement, and he is notable enough for an article because he features in the Dictionary of Oregon History, thus is covered by a reliable secondary source.--Jackyd101 (talk) 17:50, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
