Yorkshire
[edit]As you spend half the article talking about Yorkshire it is clear that Cordingley is important. We do list minor county players and players who played wartime matches etc etc etc. It is an encyclopaedia and people require the correct information. Like I say what about TT List A etc etc etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CDTPP (talk • contribs) 20:51, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
- Not that it matters, but this was one I wrote quite a while ago. To be honest, I'm unconvinced of the usefulness of categories, but I added the Yorkshire one to this article I think. But whoever did it, and whatever the "rules" say, I suspect that if someone were to use the categories to search for Cordingley, they would look in Yorkshire. The only interesting stuff ever to happen to him was at Yorkshire, and he would be notable just for that, never mind his slight Sussex career. So I think this is an IAR job, and he should be in the Yorkshire cricketers category. Feel free to argue, but can we keep it polite and stop edit warring.
