Sephardic Jewish previous residence
[edit]While the Cardozo family line may have come from London the North American Sephardic community had many places of previous residence. I think that Albert Cardozo's ancestors came to New York from more than one place.RichardBond (talk) 10:39, 6 March 2017 (UTC)
Hi Richard. Yes, the Cardozo family had ancestors who went through Amsterdam also, but Albert's "Cardozo" line came from London in 1752. Cardozo (talk) 17:54, 6 March 2017 (UTC)
- Then that needs to be stated. The way the article reads now implies that the only emigration of Sephardic Jews to the colonies originated in London and occurred in the 17th and 18th centuries, which is patently false. 208.125.143.178 (talk) 18:08, 18 May 2022 (UTC)
