The father of Albany Fonblanque was John Anthony Fonblanque 1760-1837. John Samuel Martin Fonblanque was the eldest brother of Albany Fonblanque. see notes under discussion on the Wikipedia page for Albany's father. Eddaido (talk) 07:35, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fonblanque appears in List of Carthusians, 1800-1879 (remainder of book in progress) and it states

FONBLANQUE, Albany William, 1801. Son of J. de Grenier Fontblanque, [sic] Q.C. b. 1793. Chief of the Statistical Department of the Board of Trade. Editor of the Examiner, &c. d. 1872.
