"Descendant of Robert the Bruce"

[edit]

What does "thus being noted as a descendant of Robert the Bruce" mean, and what is so notable about it? Many are so descended, but there is no proof that any are descended from Bruce's sons. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.200.7.53 (talk) 19:34, 7 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't mean anything, and certainly the position of Governor of Edinburgh Castle is unrelated to any such ancestry. I have removed this sentence, which should remain removed unless it can be substantiated. 79.65.133.141 (talk) 15:01, 26 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

CoA

[edit]

Dear whoever is reading it,

The CoA doesn't match its description - I can't understand why there is a border or. Can anybody have an explanation for that? Otherwise, we might need to change it.

Arms

[edit]

Currently his arms are depicted in a singular way, yet he often publicly bears them both quartered and impaled, whether with his governorship or his husband.[[1]][[2]]

I have prepared a few mockups of these:
