For categorisation purposes, does anyone know if Clayre was English, Scottish or what?Rodparkes 03:27, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He was born in Southhampton in 1935 and educated at Winchester I think. I wonder if his parents were Scots because Alasdair tends to be a Scottish spelling. No idea whether he regarded himself as English, Scots, British or what. Bluewave 13:45, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
