Fair use rationale for Image:AlanParsons.jpg
[edit]Image:AlanParsons.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 19:12, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
Merge or Redirect
[edit]Apparently a Merge is contested ... are we going to try for a plain-jane redirect? A Keep (as is) was definatly not consensus. Exit2DOS • Ctrl • Alt • Del 16:53, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
- To quote the closer of the AfD: "The result was Keep. There is a clear consensus against deletion. The consensus to keep versus merge or redirect is less clear". If you have a problem with the AfD outcome, please take it to DRV. Your merge just didn't fit well in the band's article at all.--Michig (talk) 17:27, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
- Don't forget that he also stated: "further discussion on the desirability of a merge or redirect can take place on the article's talk page if desired" ... apparently discussion is something you do not desire. Exit2DOS • Ctrl • Alt • Del 22:15, 4 August 2011 (UTC)
- I wasn't the one who carried out a hamfisted merge without any attempt at discussion, now was I?--Michig (talk) 22:20, 4 August 2011 (UTC)
- Ouch! so we should both work to make a Merge work then. Or are you going to revert all attempts at a merge? Exit2DOS • Ctrl • Alt • Del 23:31, 4 August 2011 (UTC)

- Ok lets start over, but please be aware, I am in agreement with the 3 at DRV that stated: 1/while there were more people who stated that it should be merged or redirected 2/The consensus was for a redirect 3/result of "keep" or "no consensus" is not an endorsement of the article as it stands.
What other options are there? Exit2DOS • Ctrl • Alt • Del 23:05, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
- The best option is for you to take part in the merge discussion at Talk:Grandaddy. Ryan Vesey Review me! 23:18, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
- As long as progress is being made, I am just letting it go. I'm not going to let anyone stress me into anothere Wikibreak, no matter how...--BITE MY TONGUE--sigh. Exit2DOS • Ctrl • Alt • Del 00:12, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
