Removed Material
[edit]I removed "MagrSc Massey PhD Michigan State DSc Massey FRSNZ FNZIAS" after his name, because it's not supposed to be placed there. If someone could place it properly in the article (I have no clue what "FRSNZ FNZIAS" and "Massey" mean), it would be much appreciated. 66.229.160.94 02:22, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
Notability
[edit]"Alan Kirton" receives under 1000 hits on Google. I'm not sure whether he warrants an article. Discuss. 66.229.160.94 02:29, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
What are the qualifications for notability? Kirton is probably one of the most noteworthy scholars in the field of beef production, and beef is pretty central to our diet in the West. User:A.J.Chesswas 8:00 AM, 4 August 2006 (NZT)
Wikidata infobox
[edit]Good discussion at the meetup! You will have seen that I've added years of birth and death to Wikidata, which I then referenced. The obituary stated that he was 68 when he died, and that forms part of the Wikidata set. However, the infobox does not use that, but calculates the age at death as either 67 or 68. Any ideas how to overcome that? Schwede66 01:31, 20 August 2023 (UTC)
- I don't. I did find a link that supported his full date of birth, but not sure if this would be considered a reliable source https://agresearch.recollect.co.nz/nodes/view/592 David Nind 04:27, 22 August 2023 (UTC)
