Colour TV?
[edit]As Postmaster-General, he was responsible for the introduction of colour television in 1970, FM radio in 1972 and an Australian-owned satellite system in 1970, Aussat, which was later privatised as Optus
Comment: Colour TV wasn't available to households until till March 1975, by which time Hulme had left parliament and there was a Labor government in power. However, it may be a reference to the technical capacity to broadcast in colour, or something like that. But if that's the case, the current wording is somewhat misleading. If nobody can explain what this should have said, I'll be removing it. -- JackofOz (talk) 23:59, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
