Breakwater
[edit]Information about the Long Beach breakwater is included in this article. The connection between the breakwater and the neighborhood is not clear. The breakwater information is appropriate in the Long Beach, California article, but not sure about including it in this article. Thanks, Alanraywiki (talk) 17:19, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
The beach in Alamitos Beach has significant wave activity but the Long Beach breakwater blocks the waves from reaching the shore of Alamitos Beach. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jvol3 (talk • contribs) 23:05, 20 March 2010 (UTC) This has caused a significant drop in visitors to beach.
