Alagoinha has the district headquaqurters; Perpetuo Socorro administrates the towns Alverne, Great Lage, and Genipapinho, among others. -- I don't understand. Is "perpetuo socorro" the name of the district headquarters? The name of the district? Puddytang 00:28, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

--- 2 options for "Perpetuo Socorro": or it is the name of a person (who probably has the higher local bureaucratic position), or it might be the name of the district, given in name of a person, since "perpetuo" and "socorro" (though they happen to have a meaning as much in Portuguese as in Spanish), they are also used as names.
