Ala I Pannoniorum (Moesia)
[edit]There was also a second Ala I Pannoniorum, which was part of the auxiliary troops in Moesia and Dacia. It is not the same unit as the Ala I Pannoniorum in Africa, according to the sources listed below. John Spaul, on the contrary, claims, that there is one Ala I Pannoniorum only, which was first in Moesia before being transferred to Africa.
