This is a paltry account of a great musician
[edit]This page could be talking about any guitarist. I cannot think of a rhythm guitarist as good as Al McKay. The people that he has inspired must be huge in numbers and stretching worldwide. He seems to barge his way between the bass player and drummer to catch an unmistakable groove that is rhythmic, melodic and one you could hum or whistle. Our band are hugely indebted to his wonderful, creative and inventive playing for the inspiration and massive bar that he has set. I have heard him referred to as a human metronome. This is an insult as his timing is genuinely better. Come on this guy is a legend you need to do more That Big Funky Thing (talk) 13:58, 9 June 2023 (UTC)
