NPOV
[edit]I have flagged the article with NPOV tag. The article is written in a very one-sided manner, with a clear sentiment against Mr. Basuki Tjahaja Purnama. It is citing Islamic religious scholars and imams, instead of neutral, unbiased sources. The whole "case" was a character and political assassination of Mr. Ahok, shortly before the elections for the Governor of Jakarta. Mr. Ahok couldn't run for the re-election becuase of this case. Very convenient for Islamists groups in Indonesia, as Ahok is a double-minority person - both Christian and Chinese. Indonesian expatriates around the world staged protests in defense of Ahok and democratic principles. Yet, this article does make it sound like some terrible crime has been committed.--Darwinek (talk) 01:16, 8 December 2019 (UTC)
Questioning the redirection
[edit]A criminal case process (this article) and a mass demonstration (November 2016 Jakarta protests) caused by it are two different things, so it should keep and the users should collaborate to improve instead of removing it and the previous deletion nominations are not valid because there were no sufficient discussion on this talk page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Qzxv5 (talk • contribs) 09:15, 17 January 2020 (UTC)
