What is the Arabic text of this Bedouin poem
[edit]It is said, the poem is to " al-Khuwair -sheikh of Al Bu Sabha" شيخ قبيلة الصبحة I am not familiar with or never heard the name. I just got the poem in one of my books ( translated into English) and no further data is added by the author. I just want the Arabic transcript ( The Arabic text) Please if any could know let him tell me. Here is the poem : I can translate into Arabic but surely it goes different than the original one. For example verse 2 he said : The poem is long but I would like to post 3 verses only.
فرس بيضاء شاحبة اللون تنصاع لمقودها = لينة العريكة .. واللجام يتحرك جيئة وذهابا كما المقص بيد الخياط
1. Al-Khweri said these verses as they brought up to him A pure white mare obedient to the iron grip of the halter; 2. A white mare whose pin in the reins moves to and fro over her jaws, Like a pair of scissors in the hand of a tailor; 3. A white mare longing for an experienced warrior, just as he longs to ride her: MohammadAlrobaey (talk) 10:07, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
