I don't have a reference, but I'm pretty sure this is wrong. Iafrate still holds the record. Actually, if you go to the Wikipedia page for "slap shot," it appears that Kilger did not do this at the All-Star skills competition.
Iafrate currently is involved in the research and development department with Warrior Hockey.
