It is true that this article relies heavily on a single source. There are very few sources in the English language which cover this period of Middle Eastern History in much detail. The work cited is the only contemporary publication on the Ayyubid dynasty currently in print, and it authoritative. Other contributors may be able to add references from French, German, Arabic, Kurdish or other languages, but there's not much more than this in English! That is why it is important for Wikipedia to have articles about this period, as there is so little else available to the general reader. Mccapra (talk) 20:22, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
