Opening line
[edit]I completely miss the point of the ”Opening line” section. What is so extraordinarily specific in having the anchor greeting the viewers, mentioning the programme’s name and announcing the headline? 83.199.3.134 (talk) 15:23, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
- If the opening line is read exactly the same for forty years, it becomes something of a tradition. --Ericdn (talk) 18:24, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
Popularity
[edit]If West German TV only accounted for 10-15% of viewership in East Germany, how is it more popular than East German television? Wouldn't that mean that 85-90% of television viewership was of East German television? Seems to me the assertion is a little unsupported, and considering it is uncited to begin with I figure it should probably be changed. Any thoughts? MattW93 (talk) 17:35, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
