Citation
Can we get a source citation for "He has been cited by the Supreme Court more often than any other scholar under 45, and is one of the most frequently quoted academics in America."? Bbpen 19:00, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Sorry about that. It came from this page. Please add this citation to the article as is appropriate. CoolGuy 19:51, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)
The cited page belongs to Amar's literary agent, hardly a disinterested party. Nor does it offer evidence to back up the claim. Bbpen 22:58, 23 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Hmmmm who else could it be then? Nobody? CoolGuy 16:23, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Paragraph on students
I removed the paragraph that talked about John Woo and the lead counsel in Hamdan. Given the number of high-profile students Amar has had, it just doesn't seem like a good idea to try to single a few out whenever they are cited in the press. Wnorton (talk) 21:36, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
Added Category
Added Indian Christian category, have been in correspondance with his brother Professor Vikram David Amar, very gracious and kind gentleman. He took the time out to tell me a little about their family. All of them very accomplished, youngest one, Arun Paul Amar, is a neurosurgeon. All seem to making great contributions to this country. But I digress, from what Professor Vikram Amar says, Akhil became a christian when he was younger and might still continue his faith. No matter the faith these are just categories, these are great people either way. --71.30.177.228 06:14, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
- See WP:V . Can you prove he is Christian? At least for sure his wife definitely is Hindu. Anyway he's not an Indian Christian, because he doesn't live in India, and I am almost certain he's not even full-desi.Bakaman Bakatalk 02:11, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
