Akananuru missing information

[edit]

Hi I am a Tamil and Vedic Historian who was recommended to edit such articles. Why aren't there any references to the stange worship of murugan called Velan Veriatam in this article which is mentioned in detail in this text. This was a very important ritual mentioned in several other text. Can we add it ? Sastri676 (talk) 04:54, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose move absent sources. Because this is a difference in diacritics, please provide sources which use the proposed page title. O.N.R. (talk) 16:05, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per O.N.R.. Since English language does not contain accents or diacritics, transliterations into English from languages that do not use the Latin alphabet likewise should not contain any marks that are not part of English. It should be also noted that this article was created on 11 March 2006, with its main title header not containing any diacritics. Two-and-a-half years later, on 14 August 2008, the header was unilaterally moved to one with diacritics. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 00:47, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
