[edit]This is more of an ad than an article. --evrik 15:36, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
- I agree. The terms "comprehensive", "largest ... specialist" and "only .. complete" are not appropriate for an encyclopedia, and I have removed them. SOA Software could probably produce definitions that made these statements true, but SOA's competitors could probably produce alternative definitions that made these statements false. In the absence of precise definitions, these terms therefore represent POV. Having said that, I believe SOA Software is a significant vendor in its category, and probably deserves a properly written WP entry. I have added a brief history and an outline of products. --RichardVeryard 13:35, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
Notability
[edit]The references in the Notes section are all about acquisitions. I have reservations about these counting as non-trivial (WP:CORP). Saligron 04:26, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- These articles are not just reporting the fact of acquisition, but are providing some independent analysis. "Loosely Coupled" (a reputable industry analysis firm specializing in SOA) concludes that the acquisition of Blue Titan "consolidates SOA Software's position as the leading pureplay SOA vendor".[1] Zapthink agrees: "SOA Software ... is the only pure-play SOA vendor that focuses on providing complete SOA infrastructure solution".
