[edit]I would be interested in putting up examples of each airspace from a sectional (navigational) chart. Is this permissible without infringing on coyprights? Thanks! (Aviant86 21:09, 16 October 2007 (UTC))
I think this would be permissible. Charts produced by the FAA are works of the federal government, so I would assume they are public domain. Commercial charts such as Jeppesen are most certainly copyrighted, though. (Flyboy0101 (talk) 19:50, 3 March 2016 (UTC))
Airport Traffic Area probably should be formally defined.
[edit]when there is an operating control tower... 5 mile radius around airport center, up to but not incl. 3000' agl — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.184.248.6 (talk) 12:19, 22 September 2012 (UTC)
To my knowledge the FAA does not formally define this term. (Flyboy0101 (talk) 19:30, 4 March 2016 (UTC))
