I am a frequent wikipedia user. Just wanted to state that I think this article serves a useful funciton summarizing this charity. Therefore I feel it should NOT be deleted due to notability issues. Please note - I am not in any way affiliated with the charity in question - I looked it up b/c I am trying to decide where to donate airline miles. 68.122.8.134 (talk) 16:29, 22 July 2010 (UTC) Ben G. 68.122.8.134 (talk) 16:29, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There are now plenty of references in this article to support its content. I added some myself and others were already there. Joseph

The content can be elaborated upon substantially. This organization has been establishing (has been on the cutting edge of) public awareness campaigns for many important issues since it's inception, in part because it is essentially funded by membership and does not tailor it's mission to grant guidelines. Where many organizations seek grant monies for well established charitable causes, this organization, because of the mobility of it's base membership (airline industry), conducts local reconnaissance, creates programs and engages in disaster relief and development with it's membership, who are typically low paid flight attendants.

Many large NGO's are usually under contracts (via large government or corporate grant guide lines)for specific operations and thus, do not typically develop or report non-prescribed issues addressing areas of need. The Airline Ambassadors are atypical in this regard. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sridave (talkcontribs) 19:06, 17 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
