I'd be interested to know whether Airbus UK wholly owns Bristol Filton Airport, which includes the famous Brabazon Hangar and a 2.4km runway. The signs on the southern side of the airfield now all refer to Airbus UK rather than BAe.

Why is there no mention of the DH/HS/BAe 125 production at Chester? If the Shadow Factory and the Comet production are worthy of a mention, then surely the BAe 125 is, with more than 1,600(!) examples having been produced there. Chester is the only site where these aircraft were produced.
possible factual error and incorrect use of referencing
[edit]"Airbus UK started work on the wings for the Airbus A380 in August 2002.[2]"
It doesn't say anywhere in reference 2 that work on the first A380 wing started in 2002.
