This statement is unwarranted given the source. CFIT is described as a category, not the cause. It does not cite the investigation report either. CFIT does not cause accidents. CFIT is a type of accident. This is a bit like saying "head-on collision" was the cause of a certain traffic accident. Dcs002 (talk) 07:06, 16 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
