Merger proposal
[edit]The question whether KLM uk should be merged into AirUK is dicussed here.--FoxyOrange (talk) 14:13, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
- Seems like it was put into archives too soon so this 3 year old discussion is not concluded. It should be restarted here.
- No, it should be the other way round as KLM uk was the last surviving airline. In other cases, American Airways became American Airlines and the Wikipedia article is American Airlines. Therefore, I start the modified proposal, Air UK merged into KLM uk - Yes, merge this way. Usernamen1 (talk) 20:27, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose: AirUK has a sufficiently long and involved history that having a separate page. It is not necessary to always merge pages following aquisitions. For example, AirUK itself was formed from (amongst others) British Island Airways and Air Anglia, both of which still have independent pages. Klbrain (talk) 12:33, 15 November 2016 (UTC)
