It should be noted in this article that the Ainsley House was originally located at the border of San Jose and Campbell, at a site that's technically in the Willow Glen neighborhood of San Jose. When development was made in and around its original site, at what's currently adjacent to the Ebay campus, the Ainsley House was acquired by the city of Campbell and relocated to its downtown area as a landmark. The Ainsley House is equally significant to the City of Campbell as it is to the neighborhood of Willow Glen, since this family both lived and worked between these two cities, back in the days when cities borders and routes were not as clearly defined. They owned land between there and there, to which the cities and later developers later sub-divided. I have references to this, which I can eventually provide, if necessary. Meanwhile, I want to point this out. Ca.papavero (talk) 04:49, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
