Moved per the consensus seen below. Thanks and kudos to editors for your input; good health to all! P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'r there 17:09, 24 June 2022 (UTC)
Ain't the Same (Brett Kissel song) → Ain't the Same – The current "Ain't the Same page is a redirect for a song that never had enough recognition to prompt the creation of its own page. I propose moving this page to the main "Ain't the Same" page without name disambiguation, while moving that redirect to one that disambiguates the name. This would align with WP:SONGDAB, which states "unless more than one article about songs of the same name exist, there is no need to disambiguate any further." Yeehaw45 (talk) 22:16, 11 June 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. >>> Extorc.talk 15:27, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
- Note: Redirects are not eligible as current titles in move requests, so the Ain't the Same redirect has been removed from this proposal. The Ain't the Same (Lost Kings song) page can be created as a redirect to Lost Kings at any time. P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'r there 01:40, 12 June 2022 (UTC)
- Support, see WP:SONGDAB. 162 etc. (talk) 17:06, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose 43 on the Canada Country chart doesn't merit an article, merge to album. And change redirect into a dab page for all 3 songs. In ictu oculi (talk) 21:05, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
- There are articles for singles with no charting history on Wikipedia (see: Let's Be Friends (Carly Rae Jepsen song) for example). Given this has more than enough independent media coverage (15 sources), charted on Canada Digital Songs as well, and is moving up the charts, it would be highly counter-productive to remove this article. Yeehaw45 (talk) 18:00, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
- I'll also note that this is an RM discussion. Any merge proposals should be at WP:AfD. 162 etc. (talk) 19:21, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
- Support or at least DAB, the NN song shouldn't be primary over the notable one. Crouch, Swale (talk) 21:09, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
