@MurielMary: Kia ora and Happy New Year :). I have created this draft bio article for Ailsa McGilvary. Could you please review this, with particular reference to WP:LIVE, WP:NBIO, and WP:NPOV. I know Ailsa and her husband Ted (although not closely), and have spent time with her on the beaches at Kaikōura, observing banded dotterels. It could possibly be said that I have a conflict of interest, so an independent review at this stage is important.
I have asked for suitable photos to be uploaded into Wikimedia Commons, and propose that the article remains in Draft space until photos are available. I also plan to create an article about Ted Howard, but will wait for feedback on this draft before proceeding.Marshelec (talk) 21:38, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Kia ora, I have read over this draft and don't see any issues with NPOV etc - there is no peacock language or non-neutral tone. One comment I would make though is that it would be helpful to state who Honor Anderson was, to give that quote some context. Also, it might be better to move to the section on awards up and the section on personal life down (swap the two) so that the reader sees the section on awards first; it could be missed at the end as it is now. And, I think it's fine to publish now rather than wait for the photo. In fact, seeing the article up without a photo might be motivating to whoever is providing the image!
