[edit]Well, I do not see why this article should be speedily deleted... Uchikawa worked on several popular anime series (Cowboy Bebop, Crest of the Stars, Mazinkaiser) and there are external sources containing info about her. I'd like to hear more argumentation in favor of the deletion before we do anything rash. %) --Koveras ☭ 05:06, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
- Were they major roles, not just minor or secondary ones? Are there sources and significant coverage about this person? Can this article be anything more than a copy of her ANN listing? We can do an AfD if you want, though there are already three others there in similar shape. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 05:07, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
- Well, ANN lists her role in Mazinkaiser as major... As for coverage, I think more info can be found if an editor or two put some work into this article... --Koveras ☭ 05:12, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
- As the speedy was declined, I've tagged for notability and lack of sources to give a few days for someone to work on it before sending it to AfD if the issues aren't met. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 16:41, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
- Gee, I somehow get a feeling you have something against Uchikawa. %) --Koveras ☭ 20:08, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
- Not at all, don't know him. I just don't like seeing Wikipedia flooded with a bunch of voice actor articles that are little more than copies of their ANN listings. If there are no sources discussing these folks, they shouldn't have articles, irregardless of whether we anime fans think they are notable or important because of the roles they have played. In reality, most don't even get that much coverage in Japan because they just aren't notable. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 20:10, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
