[edit]The article may be improved by following the WikiProject Biography 11 easy steps to producing at least a B article.--KGV (Talk) 05:27, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
Ok. I converted this to a redirect because there was no useful information here provided beyond what was given at List of Prime Ministers of Turkey. The point was not that he did not deserve his own page, but that, if his only page gave no useful information, he is better served by being a redirect to a page that has all that information and more.
But looking more closely at List of Prime Ministers of Turkey after the reversal, there appears to be a conflict of information. The list page does not list this man at all as having been Prime Minister. This page lists him as having only been prime minister for a day, 7-8-1942 to 7-9-1942. But the list page shows the previous prime minister, Refik Saydam, having servered all the way through 7-9-1942. One page or the other is incorrect.
If it is this article, then the fact that he served only a day would seem to be a relevant information point. Why was that the case? Did the previous PM resign a day early? Did Tüzer die after a day in office? (Not unheard of) What happened? This would seem to be useful information for the article. Of the two reference links that the article had, one was just a Wikipedia mirror of the list page, and thus useless, and the other I cannot get to load. I'll do a bit of Google searching, but this really could use some attention from someone with more than zero knowledge of Turkish history like me. - TexasAndroid 18:56, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- Ok. He was on the list page, but was removed from it here. No idea why, and the edit does not say. The edit also removed the note: "*Interior Minister Ahmet Fikri Tüzer served 12th Government for one day as Prime Minister before the 13th Government was established under Şükrü Saracoğlu on July 9th 1942." So there's the basic explanation for the one day of service. - TexasAndroid 19:08, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
