I heard it was canned due to the puppeteer (apparently named Jamie Dunn) was sliding his hand up the female presenters' skirts. Is that true? I never put Cheez TV and Agro together until this article but memory serves, it did take my interest away from Agro. So maybe that's true. It certainly makes more sense. Does anyone know anything about this "scandal" concerning the puppeteer's below-desk antics? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 211.27.44.161 (talk • contribs).
- Cheez TV IMO became the more dominant one because firstly it started airing Japanese cartoons (Teknoman) earlier. But they did fight back with a bidding war over Sailor Moon.... For a while that show alone kept Agro's afloat.... then Cheez brought in Eagle Riders and Dragon Ball Z and that was the end of that! And secondly you didnt have to put up with Ranger Stacey, Crikey the Clown and Grimmo or whatever getting in the way of a show. They seriously used to have a 20 minute segment inbetween one of their shows!! At least wait until the end! Cheez TV new to keep segments only a minute or two long and at least wait until the credits of one of their shows. - UnlimitedAccess 05:20, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
- I had heard exactly the same thing as the OP, though I heard it in highschool so it isn't exactly a great source. Supposedly the female presenter herself told it to people at my school at the time (this was years ago when I was still in highschool) during an excursion, I have no idea whether it is at all reliable info - Anyone able to confirm/deny anything about the possibility? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 210.9.141.11 (talk • contribs).
