Canada

[edit]

Agnes remained a citizen of Canada.

She won her only world medal --silver in the 1964 World Team Olympiad-- on team USA. Did Canada enter a team? Was it her only world championship competition?

Now largely answered in the Note which I wrote last hour from multiple pages via "International record for Agnes Gordon". World Bridge Federation. (where service is intermittent).
From one obituary I know that she placed 5th in the inaugural World Women Pairs Championship, 1962 in Cannes. (Her Team Olympiad partner Helen Portugal placed 3rd with Dorothy Hayden, we say.) --P64 (talk) 00:18, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
