[edit]Aggie Yell Leaders are student elected positions and lead the yells at Aggie Football games. There is no reason to delete this page IMHO — BQZip01 — talk 15:33, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
No kidding. The article should stay. Purgatory Fubar Converse or Snafu 15:35, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
Merge
[edit]Should merge with Midnight Yell to make an Aggie Yell Page, just like on the Texas A&M University site Oldag07 19:33, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
- Disagree. If anything, the yell practice should move here. — BQZip01 — talk 20:58, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
- Disagree as well. I think both articles are notable in their own right and are not closely related enough to be merged. -Texink[talk] 03:42, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
Female Yell Leaders
[edit]The Wall Street Journal recently had an article about females campaigning to be Aggie Yell Leaders. Perhaps some Aggie may want to add material from that article. --DThomsen8 (talk) 15:08, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
- For what purpose? It's open to the entire student body and the first female to run for the position was in the 80s. Should we also include a "first gay student", "first African-American", "first Asian", etc? When a female wins, I have no problem noting it, but not just for running for the office.
