Lead and infobox

[edit]

Premise

[edit]
  • Very strong section; nothing to change here.

Cast and characters

[edit]
  • In the first sentence in Peggy Carter’s description, clarify what kind of work she does for the SSR.
  • The period at the end of a sentence (or comma) only goes inside the quote mark if you're quoting an entire sentence. (MOS:QUOTE). Check all your quotes for this, as I have noticed this a lot on this page.
    • I have read over MOS:QUOTE and tried to correct the article accordingly. Let me know if I have misinterpreted the guideline and/or missed any specific instances you want me to fix up. - adamstom97 (talk) 00:21, 29 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
      • It looks great; this was more of a minor note and something for you to think about for future improvements to the article (if you are interested in bringing it up for FAC) as you already did a great job with it. Aoba47 (talk) 01:26, 29 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Episodes

[edit]
  • Great job here; nothing needs to be improved here.

Production

[edit]
  • Spell out the numbers thirteen and ten when referring to “13 episodes” and “10 episodes”
  • Since you have already introduced Hayley Atwell in the previous sections, you did not need to add the descriptive term “actress” in front of her name or link her. Just use her last name (Atwell said…)
  • Add a space between reference 18 and the transition “while” in the “Casting” subsection
  • In the final sentence in the “Casting” subsection, change “return” to “returned”
  • Delete the “Design” subsection heading, as I am not sure the reason for its inclusion. It could work if you wanted to make that a new title/section, but I think it would be better to keep all the information under the "Production" section.
    • We had the design subection originally, and it was split into costumes and props over time. The article is formatted so that the latter subsections aren't listed in the TOC, downplaying their significance, but I can remove them all together if you think the section just isn't big enough for this level of subdivision (I'm assuming that is the issue here). - adamstom97 (talk) 00:21, 29 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • The first sentence is constructed awkwardly. You have a dependent clause imbedded in another dependent clause. I would change the dependent clause to “who felt comfortable with the series’ period setting after spending months researching American styles in the 1940s while working on the 2013 television series Mob City” or some variation of that. Keep the link to Mob City obviously.
  • I would recommend breaking up the first sentence of the “Props” subsection into two sentence to really contextualize the quote from Howard Stark as it is just kind of shoehorned in there in the present sentence structure.
  • For the “Filming” subsection, include some information about filming locations and techniques from Season 1 to have a more comprehensive view of the series rather than just focusing on Season 2.
    • I've re-written the first sentence to emphasise that the information is about the whole series, not just the second season, but I'm not sure what else I can do with the rest of the section, as it is actually mostly about the first season already (all the first season DOP stuff, for example). - adamstom97 (talk) 00:21, 29 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Clarify who Dottie Underwood is as this is the first and only mention of this character on this page.

Release

[edit]
  • Is there any information out there about the marketing for the show? If so, then I would suggest adding a section here, similar to what Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. does, but if not, then leave it as is.
    • There is a wee bit of information on trailers and the like, which we have added to the season articles, but nothing major like what we have for S.H.I.E.L.D. I could do a bit of a summary of the two season's marketing sections, but I am just wary of duplicating lots of information over articles. - adamstom97 (talk) 00:21, 29 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • I am assuming the second season will be made available in some format. If there is information available about this, then update this part. (I understand it may be too soon to tell as the last episode aired not too long ago, but just want you to check and see if there are any developments.) It seems to be available on Amazon so that may warrant a mention.
    • There doesn't seem to be anything yet, but I'd expect news on this front over the next couple of months. When we do find out, the information will just be added to the article in the same format as the first season information is. I'll add that Amazon bit about the individual episodes, and then we should get some news on an actual home media release soon. - adamstom97 (talk) 00:21, 29 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reception

[edit]
  • The first sentence of the second paragraph reads awkwardly. The content is great, but you are trying to convey a lot in one sentence so I would recommend breaking it up into two separate sentences. The first sentence should focus on the show being canceled around the movie’s release and the reveal of the character’s death and the second sentence should focus on the Damore quote. You may also use a semicolon if you prefer.

Potential spin-off podcast

[edit]
  • This is probably a stupid question, but how does this podcast relate to the show? As someone who has not watched the show, I do not see a connection here aside from the brief reference to the season. Could you clarify this further for a reader unfamiliar with the show?
[edit]
  • Great job with the references!

Final comments

[edit]
  • @Adamstom.97: You have done excellent work with this article. I apologize for any stupid comments or questions as I have not seen the show (or anything in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for that matter), so a couple of things are just for clarification. Let me know if you have any questions or comments about my review. Once you addressed all aspects of my review, I will review this page one last time and it should be a quick and easy pass. • Thanks for this Aoba, I have gone through and responded to all of your points and am happy to discuss any further issues, where needed. - adamstom97 (talk) 00:21, 29 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
      • Thank you for your quick responses to my review. You have done awesome work with this page. I'll definitely have to watch at least the pilot of this some day. This is a definite  Pass and I look forward to reading and reviewing more of your work in the future. Aoba47 (talk) 01:27, 29 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
