ProD warning
[edit]The ProD warning was unjustified. This institution may not apear notable in the Western world, however it is one of the oldest and most important institutions in Kisumu and Kenya. Consider how many hospitals exist to serve that city and region? How many of them were established in the 50's and managed to survive Kenyan independence, the political turmoil in the region and are still able to offer the highest standards of medical care?
This is an important institution to the Great Lakes communities of East Africa and would be regarded as the Mayo Clinic of the region. It is also an important point of service for tourists and ex-pats seeking high quality medical care. A record of its existance and the service that it provides to the poeple of the region deserves to be noted in Wikipedia.
