This article is utterly fascinating yet also sobering. There is not much to be done: two minor copy tweaks, some fresh eyes maybe, and I suggest adding an image of the DC Jail. Ping me when done. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 07:56, 17 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Sammi Brie: Thanks! Image added, sentences reworded. I also added a brief sentence about Castón being appointed to the D.C. Sentencing Commission, a development since I wrote this that seems worth noting. Weird sidenote: Pretty sure that, just barely in-frame in the image I added, is the plot at Congressional Cemetery where my grandfather is buried. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe) 17:12, 17 March 2024 (UTC)
Did you know? If you fancy doing so, I always have plenty of GA nominees to review. Just look for the all-uppercase titles in the Television section. Reviews always appreciated.

Sourcing and spot checks
[edit]- 5: America magazine article. This only works in conjunction with [4] but notes that he was taking classes and talks about the PSP.
- 13: WUSA article on Castón being newly free but still commissioner.
- 19: Afro-American article on transfer out of D.C.:
The transfer removed Bishop from the city, making him ineligible and unable to continue in his duties as a commissioner...
- 21: Washington Informer article:

- P3: Published video of statements (as proof of its own existence).
- P6: Interview with Bishop when he was at McCreary.
