[edit]I'm not sure this article is all that helpful. It suggests that a consumer's credit history is binary: either it's adverse or it's not. But lenders recognize a spectrum, a continuum, of credit history--they don't lump histories into two buckets. I'd recommend dropping this article altogether. 199.244.214.30 20:40, 8 February 2006 (UTC)james
The credit reporting system should be abolished. It hurts the poor and creates a financial caste system. It is also bullshit!
The article is also inaccurate. The credit score range is wrong.
Move
[edit]I suggest moving this article to 'negative credit rating'. What do other editors think?--Grace E. Dougle 10:32, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
- I agree, make this page a redirect to negative credit rating, which as you can see still needs to be created. -- Librarianofages 01:55, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
Credit ratings or scores are simply an indicator of a borrowers history of repaying debts and loans, and are not necessarily an accurate figure nor represent the true ability of the borrower to repay a debt.
Merge into credit rating
[edit]yup. Merge into credit rating. 68.101.130.214 06:55, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
