"Adventure" magazine in the His Dark Materials

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but in the TV show His Dark Materials there is a magazine cover pasted to the character Lyra's wall, depicting a polar explorer in in an Icy setting. The magazine has the same logo as the pulp magazine "Adventure".
