Notability, prevalence of the term

I was surprised to see this article since I didn't recall hearing the term previously. A quick google search "advanced technology engine" didn't find much, just things like this 1979 conference proceeding, 1986 DoD acquisition study, and a 2014 NASA study of engine design for a specific tiltrotor project. I'm not sure that this term is in wide-enough use to justify this article, though that might just reflect my ignorance. Krb19 (talk) 14:41, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Merge with Variable cycle engine

Given that there have been no objections, I've gone ahead and done this. I've merged to the other page, given the objection to the use of Advanced technology engine on this talk page.
